World Peace, is it achievable? or should it be attained

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 09, 2009:
Most people have asked this question over and over again. In this I will tell you what my opinion is on this subject.
Gaia has many ways of balancing things out. One of the ways you could see this is by:
a) Natural Deaths
b) Forced Deaths(Time of the year coupled with the position of the moon and stars, can creat abnormalities in the meantal processes)
C) Wars
D) Natural Disasters(Volcano - Earthquakes - Floods etc.)
All of the above are ways that Gaia has used to balance out the level of the population of Humans and animals......"But hold on" I hear you say "What about extinction levels?"
Everyone has their own Destinies to live and their own fate to die from. Extinction levels are their so that a certain (Race, species, Genus) can be controlled...it is only when things go wrong(Man tries to control gaia's plans when they see something that is not quite right) then we see the downfall of the above mentioned in brackets, but sometimes gaia lets this happen(she lowers the population of a species and then Man tried to recify what they see as an error in nature) and the numbers rise, but another falls(So Man tries to rectify that too). What ends up happening is , man takes on too much and then errors larger than the errors they currently face happen.
What man needs to do is just to let Gaia do what she needs to do, we can not control Gaia - She controls us(Humans don't like that fact) But it is true.
It is in Human Nature to srive and survive, but when is too much too much. Will we just end up Nuking the whle planet when our enemies get too numerous and there is no other choice but to end up like the 1960 - 90's Movies of Post Neuclear Earth, or do we now take that chance to get all leaders together and tell them the way it is.
The prospects of World peace seems tempting but it is actually unattainable because :
a)Too many people are capitalist
b)Too many countries are argumentative
c)There are too many greedy people in the world
d)We would have to do away with money all together.
Right now those are the reasons that I can come up with off the top of my head right now, but I am sure others can put more reasons to them. but the Two main reasons for why it is Unattainable is A,C & D. Once these have been rectified, we may well be on the right path towards peace worldwide, but until then I guess we just have to hold off on that topic.
